My official weight loss log in in is Friday. But, I had weighed myself on Monday morning and lost two pounds. That is probably due to water though and not actual pounds, but I’ll take what I can get. ^^;
I hit the gym Monday and due to having to do an online class on my phone wound up with thirty minutes on the treadmill. I had done twenty minutes on the elliptical. That means I had a total of fifty minutes of gym time on Monday. I was going to go again yesterday and just walk on the treadmill, but I was too tired and I decided to keep it to three days a week as planned. Because you can go through a burn out when you start up a new exercise habit. All though I want to keep Friday open for other stuff so I might also hit the gym tomorrow as well. We all know I’ll tell myself I’ll go Saturday early in the morning, but I never do because that habit got broken. This I need to rectify as soon as possible because I miss my early morning runs on Saturday. I want to get in my three workout days during the week and if I feel like another and getting up 6am for it on a Saturday then I should do it.
I want to lost twenty pounds before July 4th and I am going to stick to this goal. I am going on another trip vacation to L.A. with my boyfriend for a convention, and I heard the space is even bigger than the convention I just went to in Anaheim. I want to be in tip top shape for walking around and hopefully having lots of energy for it. I have been caffeine free for a long while now, because of a medication I take it’s not a good idea. This is going to be really exciting and I’ll try not to ingest any caffeine….but I make no promises. ^^;

Last weekend I went on vacation for four days. I went to WonderCon with my boyfriend. I had a lot of fun and it was a lot bigger than any of the local conventions that I have been to. We even stopped at the L.A. Zoo on our way back. In total I walked 48,000 steps the whole trip. I made a new goal of trying to get 10,000 steps a day on my FitBit. We are suppose to go to L.A. again for the fourth of July weekend. We both made some new health goals. I vow to lose twenty pounds before the July trip. I want to get stronger, healthier, and fit into smaller clothes. XD
Right now I am fighting allergies and I am taking allergy medication and some decongestant. It’s not too bad it’s just at a level of slight inconvenience at this point. Now that we both have some goals set in place and we are going to cheer each other on, I am sure we are going to do very well. Relationship Goals…right? 8D
I am determined. I am focused. I can do this.

This past Saturday I went on a hiking trip up near Lake Mead on the Railroad trail. I went with a group of very awesome friends and we walked an hour in and then turned around and walked an hour back. I got a lot of dirt and rocks in my shoes and I had to stop to get them out occasionally. I packed stuff that I though I might need in my back pack for the trail. I almost felt like Cheryl Strayed and that I had Monster on my back. I felt it later in my upper back that I was sore. This will take awhile to heal and I can go to the gym and still get exercise, but playing Just Dance will have to wait until the weekend.
The Super Bowl was awesome! I went to my brother’s place and we were all rooting for the Eagles. This game has been the most interesting game in the last couple of years! There was some awesome plays too that were really exciting. 🙂
There was lots of food, rejoicing, cake, and fireworks. This weekend was really great. Also my books that I ordered came in and the covers felt wonderful and the smell of the them was phenomenal! I’m still waiting on one more book to be delivered. I got six new books…two of which I already own on my Kindle, but I love the series so much I am trying to collect them in paperback form. I’m up to “Heir of Fire” now with collecting and I got the “Assassin’s Blade” which is a prequel novella of lots of different stories of the main character from “The Glass Throne” by Sarah J. Maas.
Other than that the new list of books are as follows:
1. Clockwork Angel (The infernal Devices Series #1), by Cassandra Clare
2. Red Queen (Red Queen Series #1), by Victoria Aveyard
3. Anna Dressed in Blood, by Kendare Blake
4. The Girl of Fire and Thorns, by Rae Carson
I’m really excited to read these and I can’t wait! Although, I am going to wait until I have a mini vacation in a couple of weeks to read the Assassin’s Blade cause I heard it plays on the heart strings and I will need to prepare things just in case I wind up an emotional mess. ^^;

When I mean crunch time…
I mean at work has been really super busy and we are reorganizing and getting ready for new people and stuff…I can not divulge further than that. It’s classified. 🙂
I will probably go back to regular blog updates as soon as my vacation starts and things start slowing down. I will be seriously writing my novel this summer because it is now or never. This will also be the tenth time starting it over. Once I got as close as to nine chapters before I realized I was copying a cliche plot that was another plot from a book that I read in middle school when I re-found said book recently and smacked myself on the forehead and had a “D’oh” moment.
Also I had caffeine this morning…
I need to make sure I do not rant and/or ramble on here.
- BookShelf Life – I think I will use the Games 4 Life format rather than month to month because it gets too crazy.

Well, while being on break I was able to go to the gym twice. Then tomorrow morning I am going to do my run with my running partner. I got on the scale this morning and it was not pretty. Being on vacation sucks sometimes and you do not realize the damage you do until it is too late. I do not know if I mentioned this in a post before, but I did receive bad news last Saturday on the 8th. Before my test I learned a friend passed away and he had been battling brain cancer for a long time. I gathered my strength and took my test and the irony is that I did better in math than I did in reading. This is ironic because I am better in the language arts than I am in mathematics. I was just seven points away from passing my math. SEVEN!
If studying for a half an hour a week for two months gave me a fourteen point jump from my first scoring in November then I shall have to study harder. I am determined and I can do this to achieve my goals. This also applies to my weight loss journey. I hate calling it “my weight loss journey”. It sounds asinine and I have been depressed about it. I talked to my mother about getting weight loss surgery. I also talked to a friend who had got it done and she lost 87 pounds in six months. My mother thinks I can still do it on my own and I do not need the surgery. I have been trying to do it on my own ever since the sixth grade. I am so frustrated and I hate these diets or to be on a diet. You do not truly want something until you are told you can not have it. There are a lot of mixed feelings about getting weight loss surgery. I also do not want to have surgery only to just gain the weight back.
Sunday, I am cooking Easter dinner and having one of my uncles over for dinner along with mom and myself. Hopefully I will not over cook the turkey. I hope everyone else has a pleasant Easter and good blessings to all.

Since there is too much stuff going on this week the second round of the C25K has been postponed until Tuesday of next week. Also, I have been day dreaming of a vacation to Hawaii. Why? Because of surf, sun, and water my friend. I also have not been on a plane in twenty years and I am a bit anxious about that. I am suppose to visit my friend and her husband in DC in June. Vacations are expensive and and Hawaii is really expensive. I’ll have to save every penny I have got before making any plans to go there, and besides I would want to lose weight even more so that I can look good in a bathing suit. 🙂
So while looking for flights my mind wandered and I was thinking of the warm beach sand and ocean water. The pictures look so beautiful and I would love to take pictures and video and make a ton of memories. With my luck I’ll get sunburned really bad because I hate putting sunscreen on. I have never liked the feel of it on my skin. I do like the sun and warmth, but I hate the heat and I do not do so well in 80 degree weather. Weather that is 73-75 degrees is perfect though for me. I know I am a weirdo. ^_^;
